"Purpose driven fitness
that allows you
to explore and play"
Connecting The Dots...
— My Story
Growing up, my childhood was filled with adventures running through rice fields, climbing coconut trees, and even doing backflips off the backs of water buffaloes. However, as I grew older, physical activity became more of a chore and a necessity, and I found myself hearing the same narrative from my clients. It was a constant struggle driven by comparison, shame, and the belief that success could only come through suffering.
It wasn't until I suffered from spinal injuries to my lower back and neck that I truly understood the value of movement and the importance of having a healthy relationship with my body. It took me almost two years to walk without pain, but the biggest lesson was in the comeback. Not just in the type of movement I was doing, but in my relationship with my body.
This experience inspired me to create this program, with the goal of educating people that physical activity can be enjoyable and fulfilling. Movement should be purposeful, giving you the confidence to explore new physical activities and the joy of being able to share them with those you love.
BENEFITS OF WORKING OUT
Build Confidence
Incorporating play into your fitness routine can be a fantastic way to build confidence and develop a positive relationship with exercise and your own body. By challenging yourself in new and exciting ways, you can build physical and mental skills that translate into greater confidence in other areas of your life. Whether you prefer team sports, dance classes, or exploring the great outdoors, there are plenty of ways to add some playfulness to your fitness routine.
Boost Your Mood
Playful activities can trigger the release of endorphins, the body's natural feel-good chemicals, which can leave you feeling happier and more relaxed. Additionally, engaging in activities that you enjoy and find fun can distract you from stressors in your life and help improve your overall mental wellbeing.
Increase Energy Levels
Playing is not only a fun and enjoyable activity but can also help increase your energy levels. When we engage in playful activities, we often feel more energized and motivated due to the release of endorphins, adrenaline, and dopamine, which are natural chemicals produced by the body during physical activity.
